1. Return Window We offer a 3-day return window. To be eligible for a return, your request must be initiated within 3 days of the delivery date.
2. Conditions for Return To qualify for a return, the product must meet the following criteria:
- The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
- All original tags, labels, and authenticity certificates (e.g., Pashmina or GI tags) must be fully intact and attached.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
3. The Nature of Handmade Goods Our products are handcrafted by traditional artisans. Slight variations in color, pattern, texture, or weave are inherent to the handmade process. These are not considered defects, but rather the hallmark of authentic Kashmiri craftsmanship. Returns based solely on these natural variations will not be accepted.
4. Damaged or Defective Items If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, you must report it within 48 hours of delivery.
- Unboxing Video: For all fragile and high-value items (including Papier-Mâché, Walnut Wood, and pure Pashmina), a clear unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened is strictly required to process damage claims.
5. Non-Returnable Items The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Custom-made or personalized orders.
- Fabrics cut to specific lengths.
- Items purchased during clearance or flash sales.
- International orders.
6. Return Process
- Email dastkaarkashmir@gmail.com with your Order ID, the item name, and the reason for the return.
- For defective or damaged items, attach clear photographs and the required unboxing video.
- Once approved, we will provide a Return Authorization and instructions on where to send your package. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
7. Return Shipping Costs
- Standard Returns: If returning an item due to a change of mind, you are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
- Defective/Incorrect Items: Dastkaar Handicrafts J&K will cover the return shipping costs or arrange a reverse pickup for damaged or incorrect items.
8. Inspections Once your return is received, our quality check team will inspect the item. If the item shows signs of use, alteration, or damage not previously reported, the return will be rejected and the item will be shipped back to you at your expense.
